A couple reminders:

Please fill out the forms on SpeedWaiver or print and bring the insurance forms with you
Fill our the minor waiver if you are under 18
8" numbers and 4" class letters for both sides of your car. If you use painters tape please make sure it is a contrasting color (e.g. no blue tape on black or blue cars)
Bring food and water. There will not be a food vendor.

Magnetic and vinyl numbers and letters may be purchased by contacting Audie Chenery at www.autocross57@gmail.com or 804-564-8350. Sets start at $20 (5 ES) and $25 (35 ES).

Novice Tips:

-Before the event-

1) Get or borrow a helmet!
2) Register & find out your class
3) Self-prep - Bringing food, snacks, water, appropriate clothing, sunblock, etc.
4) Car-prep - Making sure the car is good to go, tire pressures are set, check fluids.
5) Don't be late! It is recommended to show up no later than 9am on the day of an even to ensure you have plenty of time for registration, inspection, and walk throughs.

-At the event-
6) Walk the course, walk it again, and again - aim to walk the course at least twice on your own or with a friend, and then a third time during the novice walk. The more times you expose yourself to it, the easier it can be when you drive it.
7) Ride with someone fast! - Riding along with a fast driver, preferably in a similar car, can really open the perspective of a first timer on how fast they might be able to go.
8) Get an instructor to ride along with you - having somebody to ride with you can also provide valuable insight to somebody who has never raced before.
9) Don't be afraid to hit a cone!
10) Make a friend – We’re all here to have fun!
