For nearly twenty years, the late, great Steve Newby generously opened his magnificent Potomac estate for our Summer Picnic & Concours until his passing in 2023. Though he is dearly missed, we are thrilled to carry his legacy forward. This year, we will gather for a festive "Cars & Barbecue" event at the wonderful Belmont Country Club, with heartfelt gratitude to GWS and Belmont member Sun Park for facilitating this gathering. Expect a relaxed atmosphere akin to a cars & coffee meetup, but with an even heartier menu! Please save the date—Sunday, July 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.—for a day filled with camaraderie, celebration, and, of course, stunning automobiles. The first dozen cars may park on the circular drive, and overflow parking is available in the adjacent lot. We can't wait to see you there, rain (indoors) or shine (outdoors)!
